You don't need a special emergency food pack. Official advice is to keep some food you can eat without cooking, and some of it may already be in your cupboard. This planner works out how many meals to plan for and gives you a shopping list by type of food.
How it works
It multiplies people by days and the number of meals you want to plan for each day. You choose the meals a day; the number of days starts from official advice. We don't give calorie or portion figures.
FAQs
Do I need to buy emergency rations?
No. Tins, dry food and long-life drinks you already eat are ideal, because you'll use them up and replace them before they go out of date.
What about babies and pets?
The planner reminds you to add ready-made formula, baby food and pet food for the same number of days.
